ABOUT HOSPITAL RADIO IPSWICH
Finance
Hospital Radio Ipswich is a registered charity (268114) run by a small number of dedicated volunteers.
Our station gets no funding from any official body and all of its running costs have to be raised by the members themselves. This we do in various ways and by receiving much appreciated donations. Like any other organisation our costs continue to increase and we have to buy all our own music, pay for radio licences, performing rights to music publishers, phonographic performance fees and a fee to IRN to enable us to transmit hourly news bulletins. All of this contributes to the patients being able to listen to a personal music orientated radio service. Other costs similar to any commerical business include broadband, our website, telephones, stationery, photocopying and general running costs. YOU CAN HELP US raise money for running costs by:-- Sending us a direct donation.
- Becoming a Friend of Hospital Radio Ipswich for a miminum donation of £10 per year.
- Sponsor a programme.
