ABOUT HOSPITAL RADIO IPSWICH
We provide a radio service to The Ipswich Hospital, via the Hospedia System (Channel 1). It’s absolutely free to listen to us, all you need to do is register your details with Hospedia by lifting the handset and pressing the green operator key.
We have been providing this service for over 50 years. We are run entirely by volunteers and rely on donations and fund raising to provide the money we need to keep going. If you are interested in joining us we are always looking for people who are willing to join us. Please contact us if you are interested.
Please feel free to browse through our site to find out more about the service we provide, to make a request for someone staying in the hospital or to find out about joining us.
If you would like to send a dedication to someone currently in hospital you can do this by ringing us on 01473 704666 and leaving details on our answer phone if no one is able to pick up. Or you can use the Make a Request facility which will send your request to the show you choose.
Hospital Radio Ipswich Shows
All shows are provided by Hospital Radio Ipswich volunteers. We broadcast programmes 24 hour per day and include Sky News on the hour. Sometimes there may not be someone in the studio live but you can still call us and leave a message anytime.
